THIEF ON FACEBOOK

Some of you may have seen this on the Yahoo groups but thought I'd post it here for those that aren't in any of those groups.

This person has been copying and using others work as her own to gain sales, hopfully none of the photos being used belong to anyone here.

Its amazing how quick every one was to pick it up, the cheek of some people, I feel sorry for the bowmakers that put the time in and someone comes and takes the photos to claim as there own.

that's why I love these groups everyone bands together and supports each other.

She crossed the wrong group of people.

I said to my hubby "None of mine are on there...obviously I'm not good enough!" ROFL

Thanks for posting this. I just had a look and none of mine are there. I just emailed a bowmaker that I know though that has one of her pics on there and she's from Australia.

If you have not read the comments and reviews from some of the ladies you must must must. It is a good laugh.

It may be a bit cut-throat in the US with bows but I am glad to see everyone banding together over this. She has been reported numberous times by different ladies.

Mine may not be there but from the next photo I edit for my website I am definately watermarking. I used to do all my pictures that way but let it slide.

It takes a lot of cheek to do what she has done and put it up as her own on a site like facebook. Maybe she thought that no-one who makes these bows and such would ever find it.

A big thank you to whoever located it first.

ALL the comments left on her wall (since her last login) have been deleted, not sure if she did it or Facebook.

I might just copy & paste as I have had a window open but haven't refreshed, just opened a new tab in case they were deleted.

I have had a look and none from me or other bow makers that I recoginise. Talking about stealing designs I

have two chinese companies one stole my actual hair bow pictures and has them on their site the other one

had stolen my little models pictures and plasted all over their site and after I started chatting to the lady I

was trying to buy some crochet beanies from her and she wouldnt budge under selling one colour in lots of

600.

I then told her does it make any difference that she has my niece plasted all over her site and she

says "sorry me not understand" she then admitted taking the pictures from a website in Australia. I then

informed her that it was my website but I am not sure if there is anything that I can really do about this. But

what really pee's me off is that it was a friend of mine whos daughter model my clips for me and now she is

plasted all over this site.

Hey Trace,

I beleive you can contact the web hosting company and inform them that the company is using your photographs and possibly the mother of the child too as they do not have any right to publish her daughter's photo without her permission. Mary on one of the boards is a nut about this stuff. I can ask her if you would like.

Yes, Chantelle is right one of her bow pictures was mine. Its so annoying. She must be lazy or every uncreative.

Looks like the facebook fan page isn't there any more. Maybe someone reported her for stealing pictures and facebook remove it.

I have also have asian websites steal my hair clip design photos and use them. Not much you can do about I guess.

Looks like here facebook page is gone, and some ladies also found her on Twitter an that has been deleted to.

Her reply to one lady was that it just examples of the type of things she does and never said it was her own work

Just someone to lazy to take photos!

She actually did state on her FB page the she made the bows ect lol.

Her FB, Twitter AND 2 ebay id's are all gone. I don't know if she was on Etsy, Artlife (or is it fire). She turned into a foul mouth little so & so by the end of it all, told some of the girls she was going to report them for harassment...guess she realised that wouldn't be a smart move.

Anyway glad she has gone, if she starts a new FB and makes it private maybe her 'clientèle' will realise she is a fraud!

My pleasure Kelly. Like another bowmaker wrote on the thiefs facebook page, we may not know each other that well but when something like this happens we all stick together.

Trace, that's awful that your pictures have been taken too. Especially when they're of other children modelling them. It's so frustrating. I don't know what this woman was thinking. How on earth was she going to make the bows look the same as in the pictures.
