Have you all been following the discussion on Facebook about a known scammer?

There is a lady on Facebook who has a whole stack of fake profiles and fanpages. She runs a whole lot of charities.
Her name is Kathryn Sims and she has a picture of a teddy bear dressed in pink for breast cancer. Just warning you all. She goes around liking pages so Im sure some of you have her as a liker. carefull, she has stolen photos to claim as her own for her fake auctions.

I came across this news yesterday but luckily not had anything to do with her. I have my 2 charities and I stick to them. It is so easy to be caught because we all want to help.

Stick with people you know and trust.

She just keeps going and going making up new pages.
She's asked me to donate to her cancer charity last month but luckily I got suss straight away. Im also sticking to the two charities I have donated to already, Legacy and Brittany's. I trust these ones as I know they are the real deal. Its a shame that from now on I wont be able to trust any more charities.

if you have concerns you should ask one of the ladies from the BCAT page, the link is up in the first post . they prefer you to email them and they have their email displayed. they get back to you quickly. The Chantel auction is one of hers so dont donate or bid on that one. She also had a breast cancer one but I think she took that page down.
That bcat page has the list of some of her fake pages and profiles. I suggest looking through those profiles and your likers and if she's a liker then remover her because she's taken photos and put them up on her page as an item to bid for with your shop details and makes you look like you're part of her scam.
