Hi. Can any one give advice on what glue they have found the best to stick grosgrain ribbon to snap and prong clips. I have tried hot glue - dries to quick (maybe I'm using the wrong type), a clear craft fabric glue - doesn't stick to the metal, and a white tacky craft glue - works really well but makes the metal rust, give of a rust tinge that can be seen through light coloured ribbons????
Thanks so so much for any help!!!!

There is a glue/adhesive that is called e6000. You can get it from jewlery making supply stores. I bought mine from here: http://www.empirebeads.com.au/all-purpose-glue-e6000-x1tube-70216-1007-pc.html
They have 17.5% off their items until the 31st. You can't buy it at Spotlight or Lincraft (at least around where I am).

I like the adhesive, but still prefer my gluegun (I just have a cheapy and use the glue sticks from Lincraft).

Hope that helps and welcome to the group!

I use hot glue gun, I have been getting the glue from the hardware store as I find that these are more white, and do not discolour.

You do get the hang of it, just takes some practice. I have not tried E6000 but I know a lot of people use it.

I'd have to say I have found the hot glue glue the best and by far the most reliable and cost effective, as PP have said it takes practice.
