| That is pretty. It kind of looks like it's sheer ribbon. I've never seen it anyway before. | |

| Yes those bows look great, I wondering what the ribbon is like to work with though? Did anyone find it?

| Hi Rubes,
Thanks for the new search words. Sometimes just working out what everyone else calls it is the problem. Can you send a link to what you purchased. I found one that looked like coloured glitter glued to ribbon.
If did find some of the ribbon I was after not too many colours. Just waiting back on what is available in 33 yard rolls. Their MOQ for ribbon not in stock of this type is 2000 yards.
Will post a reply when I hear back.

| I have found the supplier but have to order 2000 or 3000 yards as a minimum. They do have some in stock but not all colours.
One of the yahoo groups "bowsandbling" are running a buy on 3/8 in some colours. I have done buys with Jen before with no problem.
So if you are interested join the yahoo group and check out the picutres of the samply ribbon. I am going to order some. At least one of each colour. If you have any problems finding them let me know.

| Well found. I want it to make korkers but I guess the problem is you never know if if will work until you have some to try out. If we got a sample or knew someone who had some it would be good. It is a lot to spend if it does not work. Has anyone tried or seen this type of ribbon before? | |

| I'm sure Tracey would not mind me sharing where she purchases it and I bought gold and silver from them too. It korks really well. It is http://www.ribbonfactory.com/html/tinsel_page_3.html. Ignore that it says silver is out of stock. I bought 5 rolls of 100yards and it cost AU$121 including postage. So about $24 dollars. Our dollar is better now so I expect it would be a bit cheaper. | |

| Sorry about the link. I did not get the irridescent but thought about it. I was in a hurry and just got the gold and silver. There are other ribbons I would like too but just not yet. Also wanted to see what their shipping was like.
I am trying hard not to buy anything else until next year. Want to use up some of what I have. OMG it just astonds me how much I have sometimes but it is nice to know that I can just go and get something different to play with.

| The company I spoke about earlier got back to me today and said they're going to send me a sample of the Tiffany Glitter Ribbon - woohoo! I'll see how it korks and let you know. | |

| I got the Tiffany Glitter Ribbon sample if anyone's interested we could post it to each other to see the quality and I'd be happy to organise a group buy if anyone's interested?
It's really nice ribbon, very glittery - looks exactly like the stuff I make, but without the stiffness to it.

| I have the samples. They look great from the front but because they are on a plastic (?) type backing I am not sure how it would stand up. Obviously can't kork it. Like everying a bit different I will see what others think.
Who is next to get the ribbon?
Hey Bec, Just saw you are in Maryborough. My parents-in-law have a house in Ward Street. They live in Townsville (Annandale) but are in Maryborough until just before Xmas. We should go an visit since it is only 3 hours away. Mmmmm vistit parents-in-law - stay at home and make bows??? What should I do.

| Thanks for the ribbon, I like the colours, but they are very plastic, almost like sticky tape and only coloured on one side, silver on the back.
I would prefer more material.
Any one else want to have a look?
