Hi all im just looking for some advice iv been making singed flowers and finally got some white to try but it seems the white gets black smokey marks on the fabric, does anyone know how to avoid this?

Hi Libby,

Don't use cheap candles! That's what I have learned. If you've gotten them at the $2 shop, don't use them! I have found that soy based candles that don't produce the smokeyness when you blow them out work the best. Just my opinion though!
