Subject: double sided tape? Wed May 05, 2010 3:07 am
My clippies are coming out messy. Im using a glue gun to stick the ribbon on but I just cant get them to look good. I can always see the glue on the sides. Hubby & everyone else tell me they look great & dont notice it but I do & I dont want to sell a clip with visible glue. I've been reading a loy about people using double sided tape to line their clippies with. What type of tape is it? Is it available in stores here or only online?

I have heard of people in the US using tape. I tried to find it here to check it out. But could not get the one they are talking about. You can buy double sided tape at Spotlight. I use it for fabric headbands.
I don't use a glue gun to line my clips. I could never get it right. I use E6000 and put the glue on the ribbon with a toothpick. You have time to make sure it is flat and straight. To clap it down I just use more alligator clips.
