Hip Girls new International Shipping

Has anyone ordered from Hip Girls since they changed their international shipping prices?

I understand they overcharge shipping and then refund, but I've just worked out an order and it's charging me $80.00 postage! I just hate ordering and paying without really knowing how much I'm paying.

I was going to get some ribbon wrapped headbands (as I have no time to do it myself plus I hate doing it!) which I know might make the postage more, but $80.00???

Would love to know if anyone has ordered recently.

I know how you feel If was thinking the same myself when the email came through the other day. I would hate to fork out $80 US in shipping at the time I place an order.

I was lucking I just got my latest shipment from them last week before the changes. I think I will need to look around for a new source for the things I purchase from her!

I paid the $80, and had $50 refunded to me the next morning. I was really happy with that tbh, and it was a middle of the range order I suppose you could say!

Janine, I'd be interested in knowing your wholesale charges. I don't mind doing the woven ones but for some reason when I wrap them, my ends look shocking! I'd be interested in the thin 3/8 headbands in solid colours.
