Sealing ends Empty
PostSubject: Sealing ends   Sealing ends Icon_minitime1Fri Feb 22, 2013 7:01 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm from Germany, but can't find a German forum like this, so I thought I join you ... I hope you don't mind. ;-)

I just started to do hair bows, and have watched some online advise on how to do it.
I try to seal my ends with a lighter, but somehow it seems I'm doing it wrong, cause the ribbon usually is a little on fire at once.
How can I do it right?

Susanne

Hi Susanne,

I tried to answer this in your other post.

Try not to put the flame too close to the ribbon. It only has to come close to the ribbon to slightly melt it and it is sealed.

I use a woodburning tool (sometimes called a soldering iron).

I run a Q & A page on FB. Feel free to join us there to answer any questions. This forum is not visited as much as it used to be.
