| Hi everyone, Just wondering if there are any members on here that sell felt shapes/circles to use for backing and also to make folded flowers. If not is there anywhere you can recommend me to purchase them from. Thanks! | |

| I know this is a pretty old thread...but thought I respond anyway. I'm thinking about getting myself a sizzix big shot to make my own felt circles and flowers. I hate cutting my own and really don't want to pay for them and shipping! Got a Birthday coming up in August..think I'll talk to hubby! | |

| I got mine on special at Lincraft for $99.00, about a year ago. If you wait they may go on sale again.
Otherwise if you are going to the Craft & Quilt Fair in your state, alot of the places have them on special there also.

| Thanks Rosie..will keep that in mind. My local Lincraft sucks though...I think they just get in all the scraps from other stores that didn't sell. There's another store a few towns away..might wait til I get my next discount coupon and head over there. I actually live in a town with the biggest scrapbooking store Aus wide..but they don't stock them! | |

| Yay..went to next town to their Lincraft store in the hope of picking up a Big shot. Had it at the counter when the girl at the register asked, "You know it's $159 right?" "Yep" I replied..."I'll still take it, as long as it's not going to be on sale in the next few days"...well..so glad I said that last bit! That's when she told me it would be $40 cheaper on Monday! Looks like I'll be going back over the long weekend!! | |

| Glad you got it at the discounted price.
You can get some good dies from EBAY. You can use a few of the other brand dies as well. I use Sizzix, but also have Spellbinders and Cuttlebug. The only issue with the other brands, is they don't cut as many layers as the sizzix. With the sizzix I can cut about 4-6 layers of felt, with the others, 1 -2. | |
