Hi Michelle,

I have not used that system. I have No Bow No Go templates. I love them because I don't have to measure anything just use my ribbon straight off the roll. And use my Gatorbite to tie it off.

The hardest part about the boutique bow is getting all the loops standing up.

TIP - you need to make the cross at the front as wide as you can while keeping the ribbon at the back straight. If the ribbon at the back is not straight it will not look good. I started out using 2 alligator clips to help me keep the back ribbons straight.

If you are still having problems let me know I will take a pic of what I mean.

Thanks Janine,

Think I finally got it last night I used the instructions from Girly Things Bows, I had tried to use there instructions before with no luck but must have been in the right mood last night and figured it out. Also on the templates, I have the TOTT package and never thought to use that, so now no more measuring the ribbon.

Thanks for saving me some time on my bow making

They look great, I have found it easier to do in the larger ribbon, than the small. I mainly do 7/8 ribbon.

I have "liked" you on facebook.

Nice work. It is a tricky one to master and of course it is the one I prefer.

Have liked your facebook.

Boutique bows are the hardest to master but once you get the hang of it you will wonder what all the fuss is about.

Don't forget to keep the pieces of ribbon running across the back of the bow straight. Use some spare alligator clips to keep it in place while you fiddle.
